We worked with Riviera Iced Tea to bring their vision to market, creating a chic brand and packaging design inspired by sunkissed sipping in the mediterranean.
The Challenge
Riviera Iced Tea set out to launch a premium, Mediterranean inspired drink into a highly saturated iced tea market dominated by citrus-led flavours and sugary fruit based imagery.
The brand needed to differentiate itself from category conventions, appeal to a more lifestyle-conscious consumer, and establish a premium look and feel that could work across both retail and direct-to-consumer channels – without losing authenticity or approachability.
What We Did
- Brand Identity Development: We crafted a distinctive brand identity inspired by the Mediterranean, capturing the essence of sunsets, pastel skylines, and summer ombres to differentiate Riviera Iced Tea in the premium beverage market.
- Packaging Design: We designed confident minimalist drinks packaging design drawing on the brand’s Mediterranean inspiration, moving away from conventional fruit imagery to attract a broader consumer base.
- Retail Strategy: Developed a comprehensive retail strategy to position Riviera Iced Tea effectively in the market across the various categories which they planned to sell into.
- Direct-to-Consumer Packaging Design: Supported the development of packaging design tailored for direct-to-consumer channels, ensuring consistency and appeal across different distribution platforms.
- Brand Launch Marketing Materials: Produced a range of marketing materials to support the brand’s launch, enhancing visibility and engagement with the target audience.
The result was a distinctive, design-led brand that stood out on shelf and online. Riviera Iced Tea outperformed competitor beverage brands in premium retail – and secured national wholesale listings.
