The Brief
Chizou came to us with a bold ambition – to bring real energy to the plant-based cheese aisle. They needed vegan cheese packaging design that felt as indulgent as the product, packs ready for retail, and a digital presence to match.
The Work
A melting cheese brand toolkit
Working alongside Chizou’s existing identity, we created a dynamic bold new graphic toolkit. Curvilinear abstract patterns evoke oozing, melting cheese, paired with bold black messaging and illustration.
Retail-ready cheese packaging design
We then made the range retail ready, focusing on SKU navigation, clear messaging and shelf standout, so Chizou could hold its own next to both dairy and plant-based cheese.
E-commerce Shopify website design
Online, we designed an e-commerce Shopify website built for a seamless experience on any device. With a bold challenger led footprint – it simplifies the path to purchase and shows shoppers why Chizou should be their vegan cheese of choice.
Social content that celebrates the category
For social, we turned the well-known vegan cheese jokes into a strength. We built recurring content themes and a library of high-quality assets that the team could refresh every week.
The Outcome
Our work together helped Chizou get their proposition ready for retail – upon launch Chizou gained a national grocery listing in Belgium with Delhaize.
